CONFERENCE SCOPE

The Conference follows the Topical Conference "Frontiers of Nonlinear Physics" which was held in Nizhny Novgorod in 2001 under the umbrella of the International Conference "Progress in Nonlinear Science" dedicated to the 100-th anniversary of Alexander A. Andronov , and the International Workshop "Solitons, Collapses and Turbulence" which was held at the Landau Institute for Theoretical Physics, RAS in 1999 and 2002.

The Conference is focused on recent progress in the interrelated fields of nonlinear dynamics with applications to physical systems of different origins. Its scope is state-of-the-art research and advance in the fields of
  • General problems of nonlinear waves: solitons, collapses, and turbulence
  • Nonlinear dynamics: coherent and stochastic processes
  • Nonlinear processes in plasmas and laser-plasma interactions
  • High-field optics and lasers
  • Nonlinear phenomena in acoustics
  • Nonlinear processes in fluid dynamics
  • Nonlinear problems in geophysics
  • Nonlinear problems in astrophysics
  • Nonlinearities in quantum systems
